Last month, May 15, my VP of Ski and Golf, Johan de Deugd and I, had the opportunity to attend the celebration of the beginning of the golfing season at Kananaskis Golf Course.

We began the day, with 18 holes of magnificent golf, as these photos will attest. Immaculate fairways, summer weather (25 - 27 C) and excellent greens. Afterwards, we were treated to cold drinks and a huge variety of hors-d'oeuvres and entrees. What a start to the season!

Mike, one of the managers who joined us said the greens were coming in better than he had seen in a decade. What does this mean? We're going to have one of the best golfing summers on record.

Beautiful yet lethal sandtraps

The Canadian Rockies are truly one a kind, whether it be for golfing, hiking, skiing or simply sightseeing.

This past weekend, I, my teenage step-son and our neighbour, Joey O'Brien re-shingled the roof of my 28-30 year-old house.

Even while my body argued against the labour I asked of it, I still caught myself looking in awe at the mountains surrounding me.

You can view this grandeur yourself, by reviewing our latest Luxury Golf Itinerary that we recently posted online.
