What happened to Autumn?

September 15th from CME office

The photos above were taken one week apart. The first, taken September 8th, is the approach to the 9th hole at Silver Tip Golf Course here in Canmore. I was hosting a group of PGA Pros and we were blessed with mid to high 70 F temperatures and clear skies.

The two on the right were taken in the morning of the 15th! A cold front moved in mid-week then it proceeded to DUMP snow for the next 24 hours. I expect we received over 3 feet in the alpine. In my backyard there was 6 inches.

The temperature never went below freezing but the snowfall as so great it just kept accumulating.

The Canadian Rockies had great weather this summer and all of our guests enjoyed some of the best golfing and recreation that this area has to offer.

I hope you had great summer too.

I and my team now look forward to hosting many of you to another fine winter of great snow and clean descents.
